Medieval jousting day

We can’t offer you any dragons, but this day will give you a true taste of what it really was like to be a medieval knight. After a riding assessment, a briefing on the equipment and some history on the art of jousting, you will take part in various activities both on foot and on horseback. These include learning how to use your lance on the quintaine (a spinning target), and how to use a flag and shield effectively. After lunch is a choreogaphed fight sequence using broadsword or quarterstaff, before you dress up in full medieval costume and enter the tournament. Have you got what it takes to be the victor?
