Step back in time as you board a Cathedrals Express carriage hauled by a fantastic, historic steam locomotive. After a champagne brunch on board, visit one of England’s most beautiful cathedral cities from a choice including Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham, Worcester, Sailsbury, Ely, Norwich or Nottingham where you’ll have a few hours away from the train and can choose to spend your time either sightseeing or shopping - you decide! Then step back into the relaxing carriage to be served a delicious four-course dinner and take in the smooth ambience of steam train travel on your return journey. Availability: Selected date/s are available on each trip. Please book early to avoid disappointment; all booking is subject to limited running dates and availability.
Participant Guidelines: Minimum age is 16. Smoking is not permitted on board. Only folding wheelchairs can be stored on board. Passengers need to be able to walk to their seat but can be aided by staff.
Duration: Most trips average approximately ten hours (depending on your choice of destination) excluding the Father's Day Circular which is approximately four hours. You'll receive your tickets and a full itinerary shortly before your departure date.
Numbers on Day: There will be up to 64 passengers in your carriage. You will be seated on a table of four. All seating is allocated subject to availability on the day by the supplier and cannot be guaranteed.
Dress Code: Smart/casual wear. We recommend you dress comfortably.
